Why not just run Claude Code on your laptop?
You can, and plenty of people do. BlueRock adds what a laptop cannot: compute that is not your own machine, context that persists between sessions, guardrails that are on before you think to set them, and a record of what your agents did.
| On your laptop | In your BlueRock Cloud AI Workspace | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Your machine, and only that machine. | Dedicated cloud compute you can reach from any machine. |
| Your project | Local files, tied to the computer you made them on. | Projects, files, tools, and context stay together in one place. |
| Guardrails | Permission prompts, managed by you as you go. | Sensible boundaries on by default, so AI can act without unrestricted access to your systems. |
| What you can see | Scroll back through the session to work out what happened. | A dashboard showing what your agents did and what it cost. |
| Where you start | An empty prompt. | A starter kit with working agents for your role. |
