Stopping for the day and coming back

What to leave running when you stop, and how to get back to your work tomorrow. Setup does not repeat.

What this does
Names what to leave running when you stop, and how to pick the work back up.
When to use it
At the end of a working session, and the next morning.

When you stop for the day

Close Claude. Leave the BlueRock Connector running in your menu bar.

Do not stop your sandbox. Your workspace suspends on its own, and stopping it by hand is the step most likely to cost you time tomorrow.

When you come back

These steps are the Claude Desktop route.

  1. Click the BlueRock Connector icon in your menu bar. On a Mac it is in the upper right, near Wi-Fi, the battery, and the clock.

  2. Choose Connect Claude, then Claude Desktop.
  3. Open Code. Claude Desktop also has Chat, Cowork, and Projects; your workspace opens under Code.

  4. Select BlueRock Sandbox.
  5. Open your project folder, my-workspace, and pick up where you left off.

If you were partway through setup when you stopped, run /bluerock:onboard to continue.

What does not repeat

Setup is a one-time cost. Coming back does not mean doing it again.

  • GitHub authentication
  • Cloning your project
  • Installing the BlueRock Builder Toolkit

Your agents, skills, and memory files are in your project, so they are there when you open it.
